Partner Events with PFI Participation

  • BELLAGIO DIALOGUE: Reimagining Environmental Multilateralism

    PFI, along with Northeastern University and Rwanda Environmental Management Authority, brought together global stakeholders on 6-10 February 2024 for an in-depth discourse on environmental multilateralism. The initial sessions were focused on understanding and addressing capacity constraints and leveraging collective energy for environmental advocacy. An important aspect of the discussions was the role of imagination in strategy development and the importance of considering various perspectives and challenges faced by different regions, particularly emphasizing the unique position of small states in the global context.

  • ROAD TO THE SUMMIT DISCUSSION SERIES

    PFI President, Ambassador Keisha McGuire, served as a first respondent at the Road to the Summit discussion series hosted by the Coalition for the UN We Need and the Baha'i International Community. This discussion series serves as an opportunity for Member States, the United Nations, and Civil Society to consider the most salient points emerging from Our Common Agenda, exploring areas requiring further consultation, including implications at the local and national levels.

  • BIG BRAINSTORM 2023

    Hosted by the United Nations Foundation, Big Brainstorm 2023 - A Year of Action for the Sustainable Development Goals brought together young leaders from around the world to explore, prototype and launch initiatives to tackle some of humanity’s greatest challenges. PFI President, Ambassador Keisha McGuire, served as a panelist during the Spotlight session on The Grand Ambition to Change Trajectories In The Second Half Of The SDG Era.

  • GLOBAL POLICY DIALOGUE

    PFI President, Ambassador Keisha McGuire, participated in the Global Policy Dialogue: Addressing the Triple Planetary Crisis through Improved Global Governance in Recife, Brazil.

    The event brought together leaders from governments, civil society, and private sector, as well as global governance officials and experts, to debate the key challenges and potential responses to the Triple Planetary Crisis.

    This event was co-organized by Plataforma CIPÓ, Global Governance Innovation Network, Stimson Center, Global Challenges Foundation, Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS) and Heinrich Böll Foundation. 

    Ambassador McGuire served as a panelist on a session addressing South-South and inter-regional cooperation towards achieving climate justice and promoting a just transition.

  • WORLD YOUTH FESTIVAL 2022

    PFI President, Ambassador Keisha McGuire, was the special guest speaker for the World Youth Festival held at Srinakharinwirot University in Bangkok Thailand under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee, Paralympic Committee, Special Olympics, SportAccord, GAISF, and AIMS.
